Say no to 15% on books in Nova Scotia

The province of Nova Scotia is in the midst of a tax and regulatory review that could see higher taxes on books. Books are currently subject to the 5% federal portion of the HST, but not the 10% provincial portion of the tax, which is rebated at the point-of-sale.
